I am so excited to be your child's Pre-K teacher this year. I am looking forward to creating a supportive classroom community where your child feels safe to learn and explore while developing new and lasting friendships with their peers and other educators on campus. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University in 2011. Since I graduated, I have taught preschool, 2nd grade, kindergarten and third grade. I attended the Deer Valley schools myself when I was a student from 4th-12th grade. This will be my 9th year teaching in the Deer Valley District and my I2th year in total. I have an amazing husband who loves music and shares his passion with his students. We have a beautiful 5 year old daughter who loves reading, exploring, and learning. We also have a curious and adventurous 2 year old who loves climbing and exploring his world around him. When we are all together we enjoy going to the park, biking, swimming camping, and checking out national parks. We love time with family and friends and look forward to creating new memories together. I enjoy country music. I love reading and cuddling up on the couch; especially on a cloudy day. But my favorite reading time happens with my daughter and son are on my lap and we are snuggled together at their bedtimes. I love each and everyday and try to find the beauty within that day.

The Coyote Pup Pre-K at Diamond Canyon has a team of teachers to help your child grow and learn in many fun ways. We design engaging, hands on learning activities to help promote the whole child through out the school year. Our team strives to make your child feel safe and secure in their learning environment, while building relationships and a strong community. We look forward to watching them blossom and grow into amazing little learners, great citizens of our classroom, school, and community, while developing new and lasting friendships with their peers and educators on campus.
